To sweeten the deal a little, going to offer up a Northridge4x4 official 2018 Easter Jeep Safari tee shirt (L or XL) and some other swag to the first person who gets one of these DANA diff covers from us, installs it and posts a pic in this thread....

Purchased from Northridge. Ran these covers since Sept. Beat them mercilessly. Added the Rancho skids to them. The fit was decent between the two different products. I've beat them harder since then. Two good products. I don't have a tee shirt... they are just good parts. :)

Awesome! Thanks for posting up @mer43. We don't have anymore of those 2018 EJS tees available, but if you PM me your name and address, we'll get some other goodies out to you.

Forgive my ignorance (Jeep noob). What is the function of these covers? Are they just more heavy duty so they can take the abuse of smashing against rocks? Or do they somehow create less flex in the pumpkin itself, thus adding increase reliability or function to gear axles?

You are right on both accounts @Fire Burns. They'll take the abuse of hitting stuff and they do add strength to the diff center of the housing.

Hey N4x4, what is Lube Locker telling ya'll about when they expect to have their product available for the JL?

I'm not going to get the beef covers until I do my gear change, but hope by then i can do a N4x4 combo deal with the D44 covers and lube lockers for f/r!

No news yet on LubeLockers for the new AdvanTek D44s. They now have 12 cover bolts instead of 10, so the JK D44 cover parts won't fit.

We just sent an inquiry and will let you know what we hear.

For the non-Rubicon guys, the Dana 30 front cover is the same as the JKs, we have the covers and the LubeLocker reusable gaskets in stock.

My Jeep guy, who did lockers and diff covers on my Sport, said the Jeep gaskets are high quality, above and beyond past ones. He was really impressed with them. If you don’t want to wait.

Confirming, you're saying Wranglers are coming with a diff cover gasket from the factory?

If that is the case, for anyone talking about waiting for the Lube Locker, I honestly wouldn't waste your money. Made that mistake before doing a diff service on my wife's ram. Busted everything down only to learn the truck came with a quality diff cover gasket already.
