I’ve always loved Jeeps, ever since I could remember. My dad was the same way and he was born in 1944. He never owned one. I got my first one when I was 32 (2000 TJ Sahara) but sold it when the family outgrew it. Virtually every day since I’ve just wanted another Jeep. Sold my Volvo last week and my JLUR is sitting at a rail yard about 30 miles from, hopefully to be delivered this week. I can’t see a time in my future when I won’t own a Jeep. I do enjoy some moderate off-roading, but driving a Jeep gives me the ability to say “I can go across that ditch” any time I want. I can’t explain the love, but I know I’ll be happy.
Great article. I really enjoyed the writing and the history, along with the review.
