So after doing a huge build on my 2021 Rubicon, my lady friend dragged me away from beautiful ID, to FL. I sold the jeep thinking it was way overbuilt for literally the flattest place in the us. Well, FL destroys paint, so I got a new Rubicon and my first diesel (Another 25k build starting). It was Delivered from CA late yesterday. I noticed it has a very odd buzzing sound for a couple of minutes after I shut it off. Does anyone else do this?

I took at 15 sec video but it saying to large to upload?

Just my thought. Modern diesel fuel pumps are prone to catastrophic failures, mainly due to poor lubrication, and heat. Heat is the big enemy of these things. Since the fuel pump gets cooled by the fuel, the recirculation of the fuel is necessary, that is why the fuel pump is probably running a little after shut down. This is why you don't run your diesels to empty before fill ups, because the recirculated fuel will heat up more, the lower the fuel level. At least that's what I've been told, the last 22 yrs of owning diesel pickups. But, that loud buzzing sound seems a bit much, and if it were mine, I would have it looked at, before it leaves you stranded.

Like everyone else said: totally normal. This is a classic example of "they all do it".

Dont you have a GDE tune? I believe that gets rid of the noise....
Yup. I didn’t know that was one of the benefits.
