I just noticed today on the Jeep.com website that you can now build a 2024 in ANVIL exterior color and also have the Sky One-Touch Power Top. Previously, that was not an allowable combination there.

But you can't get ANVIL with the half-doors.

Also, a new color to the 2024 build just showed up: Bikini Pearl Coat, for $895 and not $595 like the other non-white colors.

With Bikini, you can have the half-doors but not yet the SOT.

Really makes you wonder why? There was a post a while back about not being able to get the cold weather package because of the way he was looking to build the Jeep

A few weeks ago, a dealer in Seattle told me that one/the reason the SOT didn't come in ANVIL was because the side rear panels which, unlike the hardtop, can be individually removed when having the SOT, Stellantis was having difficulty obtaining them in that color.

Makes no sense to me, but I don't build cars. I would have assumed that the paint gets applied to the entire car at the same point in production for a smooth color match such that the panels would be procured unpainted.

You can also choose the v6 with an auto for the Willys and sport s. Maybe the sport too but I didn’t try.

There is no way I would pay $895 for paint.
Yeah, that's what I said when going through the AEV options and custom paint was $11,875.

Tbf, the $600 factory paint looks like complete ass compared to most auto manufacturers. Color aside, at least you'd be getting a decent paint job from AEV.

On the other hand, I'd feel like a dipshit asking them to change my factory Sting-Gray to Nardo grey for that amount of money.

Strange they don't offer the SOT in Black like the regular hardtop for these sourcing instances.

I think the 392 price also increased..... in my case, about $2,500 more than when I ordered mine on May 1st .

Oops. I may have written that poorly. The SOT itself is black. I meant they did not offer the ANVIL exterior paint job with any SOT. Until now.

You can get the black exterior color with the SOT.

Why pay more or a premium for a paint color that’s just gonna bubble anyway just a thought.,
