Adding seat warmers makes it soft. Changing its performance makes it less capable. Two different things. The Wrangler has gone soft, however, it was a brilliant move by FCA. Keep most of the original look, don’t limit its capabilities and make it comfortable enough that someone’s grandma could drive it. That is why they are selling 200,000 of them.
Well, I suppose warm leather is slightly softer than cold leather.

and this. I had my T4R for about 2 years - I only took it to the dealership for oil changes.

I've had my JLUR for less than 10 months - Been in the dealership 4 times already (plus the oil change)... so yeah, I'd chose reliability too.
I hear that, I had four recalls on my JK in three years
