At least on my computer screen it appears more slate blue than gray. Unfortunately, most manufactureres right now are going with a pallette of grays or gray undertoned colors. BMW has 8 colors available on the X5 - white, 2 different blacks, artic grey, graphite, manhattan green which is a gray/green, sparkling , and a blue.

Jeep only has 5 colors available on the new Grand Cherokee (white, black, granite, silver, red), unless you select the Summit or Trialhawk then you only get 4 colors and they're two-toned.

With all these muted and muddied colors, it seems like the carmakers are trying to get everybody on board with desperately trying to pull off some sort of suit-and-tie adulting play. I'm afraid taking a good look at today's news makes a bit of a mockery of all that. Might as well just be a real adult with a pulse than a faker without one.
