Negotiating MF with Chrysler Capital

in the market for a Wrangler 4xe because of the Rubicon rebate offers. Recently got an offer on a MSRP of 70, 000 with a selling price at 56, 000 excluding taxes tags and dealer fees which amount to 3200. Looking to move forward with the offer but I’m seeking advice on negotiating the MF before filing a credit application. Has anyone successfully negotiated from tier 2 financing to tier 1 with Chrysler Capital?

I've never tried beyond buy rate, but I've always been tier 1 when leasing. You have that rate?

Firstly, that doesn't seem like that great of a deal. I'd wager that none of that $14k "off" is dealer discount.

Negotiating from a tier 2 to tier 1 (and being successful) is unlikely unless you're right on the cutoff... and even then its a MAYBE.

I notice that Stelantis doesn't seem to offer or I have not seen any special finance rates in the last year or so that Ford and GM do. When I purchased my TRX I went with my credit union. Was hoping to at least get a special rate before our 392 comes in...I refuse to pay cash.

Yeah, it's lease specific. Tier 1/2 is credit rating tiers, Tier 1 being the best so lowest MF/rate.

Credit just effects MF, all the other pieces stay the same.

Just like with loans, dealers try to jack up the rate (and are allowed to). The buy rate i mentioned is the published CCAP rate. The sell rate is what the dealers try to jack it up to.

checked with Edmund’s forum and current Jeep/fed incentives amount to 11,000 , car was listed at 71,465 so they’re offering just at 4,465 if I’m correct. If they are better deals in the northeast then I’m happy to be pointed in the right direction lol

700 credit and above is tier 1.. here is the MF sheet good through 2/29.. also a lot of the times CC has an offer to bump you to the next tier if your are not already tier 1.. also if their MF does not match what’s on this sheet, they have added in their own amount to try and make money.. if they won’t come down to what’s on this sheet based on your tier, walk!
