I have watched several videos and read so many different instructions I’m going cross-eyed. I have a 2019 Rubicon and I don’t want my calendar showing up on my CarPlay screen. I removed the app from the general settings altogether so why is it even coming up on my screen? I've gone through numerous other notification settings and disabled them as well as it pertains specifically to the calendar app. And even did all this same thing with Google Calendar even though it’s not even listed in the apps in my CarPlay. Any ideas?

Try going to the actual "CarPlay" App in your phones settings and remove the calendar from the list of included apps. You can pick which App you want to show up on your vehicles carplay screen.

That’s the first thing I did. That’s why it’s driving me nuts. I did it while away from the vehicle and actively connected while it was running. That’s what sent me down all those other trails.

Do you have more than one uconnect system in the phone and did the wrong one? Could always wipe all the systems out and reconnect and see if that does it.

Just the one. I’m only recently coming into the new age stuff. My last truck was a ‘01. This is my first Jeep and first time using CarPlay.

I think I figured it out. I’ll wait a couple days and if it works, I’ll share what I learned.

Finally came across a short video that explained what I needed. Though the video was before Apple Intelligence I wound up where I needed to be. In CarPlay while in the vehicle go to Settings/Apple Intelligence &Siri. Toggle off Suggestions in Dashboard. Since I totally removed the app, I don’t know why this had to be done, but now I don’t have my passengers looking at the private things I may have on my calendar.
