Need more space - Rack and Roof Boxes?

My similar situation involved a cross country trip with my wife and daughter. My solution was the addition of Yakima round bars with towers (rain gutter mount) and a Yakima Skybox from REI.

Boom. All problems solved, and it goes on or off in two minutes flat.

Is that a Skybox 16?

Hi all. Just curious if anyone has any updates on hauling roof boxes on long trips. I have the Thule gutter mount cross bars but we've only used them for paddle boards. We have a large cargo box that usually lives on my wife's SUV but I'd like to use it on the Jeep during ski season for clothing, lightweight gear etc. The gutter mount makes me a little queasy so I'm looking for real world experience to ease my mind.
