Ok, So while trying to find the location of the Aux Wires, I made a boo-boo I think. So, I need all of your help - I have searched here and Google for the location of the Aux Switches Wiring Under the Dash of the Passenger Side. I have a 23 Rubi. I do NOT see any harness end taped up with the wires, but I do see a horizontal taped wire. Before you start flaming me and saying just cut it open, that's not how I like to do it on a brand new Jeep. Not yet at least.

I also think I disconnected a Green White Plug somehwere above the kick panel. Can any one confirm that (1) that green wire does indeed connect to something? Its not attached to a bigger harness. Its by itself like the antenna coax.

And (2) Is that thick horizontal cabling the aux wires, bent back and taped up? I really have no idea snice this is the first JL I have owned.

Thanks for any help in advance.

J

Ok, so quick updated.I found the wire bundle. on my 2023 Rubi - it was to the FAR LEFT. Tucked way behind the center console. See picture.

BUT, I am now concerned about what the heck I unplugged. I looked and looked but cant figure it out. It is a single Green White wire...

That doesn't look like it was connected to anything. There's no plug on it.

Ok, so really stupid question (I am not a big electronics tinkerer...) Why would a green/white wire just be hanging over there doing nothing? Seems a but odd to me.

It may be for an option that your particular vehicle does not have. The wire you posted the pic of is wrapped in tape and the tape doesn't look pierced/perforated in any way. I don't see how it could have bee used for anything, unless you really yanked it out of what it was connected to. I'm sure you'd know if you ripped/pulled the wire out of its connector that hard. Lastly, if your vehicle works as it should and nothing is broken/not working then you are good to go.
