Spent the morning looking at various Wranglers, seeing what we could get into comfortably without buying side steps.

Did not find a 392 (duh). So I need a favor. Can someone with a stock 392 (33" tires) measure the distance between the ground and the bottom of the door?

My guess is that it should be around 24".

Thanks

FWIW, I'm 5'11", it was a partial slide to get off the seat upon exit. Wife needed quite a bit more effort. RSE power steps went on soon after its arrival. However my buddy is 6'4. I turn off the steps when he rides shotgun, for him the steps are in the way.

Thanks, just what I'm looking for.

I'm about your height, drove a Rubicon yesterday....maybe slid a little to get out, not a problem. the 5' 6" wife was also OK with the 24" from ground Rubicon.

I just wanted to be able to start with no step, then leave the option open.

Just for anyone's information, here are the Jeeps I measured:

Sport 22"
Sahara 23"
Willys 23"
Rubicon 24"
Rubicon XR 25.5"
