Need help identyfing lift!

Shocks have been made to mount like that for several decades, that was the reason colored boots came out in the 80's... now when performance came into the picture shocks got flipped over for several reasons.
1 being tire clearance with the huge tubes bypass runners and reservoirs taking up space.
2 they learned unsprung wt was easier to control.

I agree with too much front stops

But, I am sick of hearing about every lift that costs less than $5k is junk, thats straight up bullshit...for uninformed folks what is junk and why?

It doesn't need to be $5k...

But geometry needs to be addressed. At the minimum with relocation brackets, or better yet front lower control arms and track bars.

I think my lift was around $2k with nice Bilsteins and it drives great.

I was able to track down the previous owner, and he confirmed that it is a 2" Mopar lift he had installed @ 500 miles.

The front has wayyyyyy too much bump stop and the rear has zero additional.

if you look at his alignment numbers they are great so my guess is those may be mopar lower control arms....he still needs to say what measurement he got from the diagram listed above but as far as numbers it should drive good

He replied, original owner says it is the Mopar lift.

The spring numbers clued me in, especially since we couldn't actually see a spacer. But the shocks threw me off. EDIT: After seeing the pictures of the spring number markings, that isn't Mopar.

He is missing the rear bump stop extension pad from the Mopar kit.

He also has too much front bump.

Maybe those are cheap replacement shocks? I believe that kit would have come with silver Fox shocks.

I don't think mopar as mopar lift has the plastic wrapings on the lower section of the coils...I am still going BDS. also mopar kits usually have more oem looking sb links.

Is the thing safe to drive at least? It drives pretty nice and there are no loud thuds/noices for the most part... One particiular spot in a road here makes it clunk like a seam in the road... kinda of weird. But nothing major

Drive the crap out of it, the alignment sheet shows pretty good numbers, and the thud/clunk you’re hearing is probably the front bump stops hitting, you could probably get away with an inch less maybe a bit more…… But if it drives sweet, don’t worry over it, and enjoy it….

There have been multiple versions of the kit over the years, but generally this is how it looks.

I've seen silver sway bar end links before as well.

Bilstein Shocks are in the newest kits.

Yeah those aren't Mopar sway bar end links.

The spring markings aren't OEM Mopar either.

I don't see the Mopar rear bump extension.

The front bump stop definitely isn't the Mopar one.

Shocks, no idea. Look cheap since they aren't even branded.

It is hard to tell, but I don't think that is the front Mopar lift spring isolator either.

The part number for the Mopar lift LCAs is 68322798AA .

from BDS website...the part for for front and rear coils match. ie 340 and 346 and the links look like the bds links but never know..the OP could send a photo to BDS and see what they say.

ditto or just needs to take a torq wrench and tighten every bolt to spec....the numbers are good so would expect it to drive fine..in reality unless doing offroading the bumpstops are not going to hurt anything just limit up travel..hitting that speed bump at 60 might kiss it tho....
