I have a few things I’m considering doing to my jlu Sahara, it’s my DD & I want to finish off the build with some functional mods. Here’s a list of everything done so far;

Rough Country 2.5” spacer lift
34” K02 tires + aftermarket alloys
MBRP muffler delete
Fab Fours stubby
Weston WJ2 rear bumper
Smittybilt SRC side steps
Metalcloak adjustable front trackbar (on order)
Metalcloak UCAs (on order)
Synergy trackbar & sector shaft brace (on order)

At this point I’m looking to do either 2 things. Re-gear the diffs to 4.56 or 4.88 & add a truss to the Dana 30, or buy a suspension lift system. What would you do?

At the expense of a re-gear and reinforcing the Dana 30, you would be surprised at
how attractive the D40 with lockers looks.

Plug this number into your favorite wholesale mopar dealer. 77072405

It's not that bad, probably my next step.

Do you have the part number for a non-rubicon front d44? Maybe the one for the ecodiesel or a non-runicon gladiator.

I don't know? I'm still trying to figure it out myself.
I was suprised though to see new crate axles selling cheaper than used on Ebay.

Weird having lockers in the front and an open 35 in the back :$ I’d much prefer having lockers out back but then I’m still stuck with a D30 lol.

My JK was a similar build to yours and after that step I did regear and detroit lockers. Made all the difference and worked out great for me at the time.

Yea I think a regear is the plan. Just makes sense especially as a daily

They’re 17s, I was going to throw 16s in for more sidewalk but I didn’t want to limit tire choice in the future

What would I do?

i guess that would depend on what I was trying to accomplish with the Jeep. How many times have you been off-roading and needed a lift?

Realistically I go off-roading 3-4 times a year. Rest of the fine I’m driving or camping. I just wanted to replace the stock system for ride comfort & capability
