I think I'll blame my laziness on @Rhinebeck01 in this case. I purchased an AAWireless after reading his thread and then thought, now I need wireless charging for a more hands free setup.

Sorry I didn't do step by step but this was pretty straightforward.

Purchase list (probably not the cheapest approach)
Started with this for a 12V tap, looks like these are on sale right now. I wired the USB C cable below tp the 12V tap.

Wireless magnetic mount charger. Also had to purchase magsafe halolock for my phone case. The charger doesn't come with one unfortunately.

USB C cable that I routed up from the 12V socket tap behind the radio and yes drilled a small hole to route this up to the phone charger. Picture below.

USB C hub so I have a few options. A word of caution I had run power directly to the wireless charger but it's 9V or 12V only input. I had tested it all before I put the dash back together however I failed to start the engine. The. charge worked fine from battery only but once engine on the voltage was to high and the charger wouldn't work. This hub doesn't care about the higher voltage, or hasn't yet.

Last item since I had run the USB C cable above I needed a male to male adapter.

I'm very happy with the final results and love the AAWireless see here if you are not familiar.

I can now jump in place my phone on wireless magnetic charger and Android Auto connects almost instantly. Happy lazy camper signing off.

Wireless charger fits perfectly in my 67 designs holder. You can see the cable routed up and plugged into the USB hub.

USB C hub snug fit, I might get a shorter USB cable but I don't see it from driving view.

The small hole I had to drill or "poke" thru the dash. The cable is routed down behind the radio all the way to the 12V socket tap. If I was doing again I probably would have placed a USB panel type socket here instead. The shiny part is the hub commented to the cable using male to male adapter.

Proof I had the dash apart...

AAWireless setup lives in console, velcro holds it in place. It stays plugged in, was just in process.
