My very simple, cheap, one person hard top removal and storage.

it only required 6 straps.
4 wrapped around the rafters and hanging at the 4 corners of the rear side windows
2 running inside the top from the cutout for the rear doors to the open rear window (these attach to the 4 hanging from the rafters and allow for the ratcheting portion of the straps to be clear from contacting the hard top)

this was done in may of 2021, in Georgia, in my pole barn. it has held up to storms and wind. If you dont have exposed rafters or don’t want to wrap around them, the only other thing you’ll need is 4 hooks screwed into your rafters. It works for me, maybe this can give you ideas of a way to store your hard top off the ground.
