For top speed a Bronco is a better choice for anyone wanting a off road vehicle with removable roof and doors. The chart probably has to be corrected for some of the Bronco acceleration numbers. Reviewers are not reporting 5.9 seconds for the Bronco in real world testing yet.

Don't work for Ford but I have no issues buying one if it meets my needs. Have not seen or driven a Bronco yet so can't comment on if I like it or not? I am open to checking one out though.

Though I have never owned one I do like some Ford gear like the various Shelby Mustangs and the halo GT. I love all of the different GT generations. I think the current GT is quite possibly one of the best looking cars on the planet. Shows you what can happen if a car company puts enough resources into something. Just look at the history of Ford Verses Ferrari.

Routinely drive my JL on the slab and itā€™s quite comfy running with traffic in the 75-80 range. Have hit 90 a few times BUT thatā€™s not what a Wrangler was designed/built for. If I wanted a fast vehicle Iā€™d be in something other than a JeepšŸ˜

I think you guys are mis understanding nobody is saying a Jeep is ā€œfastā€ we are talking TOP SPEED which means if youā€™re on a high that the speed limit is 75 everyone is going minimum 85 and you need to get around someone thatā€™s where top speed comes in handy I think we all know a Jeep isnā€™t fast we are talking TOP SPEED

I think everyone is just having fun. Seriously, there was no issue at all with acceleration or passing from 75 to 90 in my old 2.0T JLR. The automatic is a perfect match to keep the power where it should be for the turbo. It pulled as hard from 75 to 90 as it did from 70 to 85. I never needed more than 90-93 mph to pass. It seemed like it anyway from my memory. My point is the 2.0 had no problems passing at those speeds. This is on dead flat highway. Mine was totally stock.

Out of curiosity, is your Rubicon stock or do you have different size tires or different gears? Automatic or manual? Which motor?

I donā€™t care what has more horse power or rides smoother or has a higher speed.. Iā€™m sitting outdoors on a gorgeous day and I wouldnā€™t trade my Jeep for any of them.

Mine is the good ol rubicon V6 still stock as I only had it a week or two only managed to put 1500 miles on it so far but when it only had three miles on it minute it got off the truck I drove it across the street into undeveloped land doing donuts and hitting ditches pretty sure thatā€™s probably why my alignment is out of place now donā€™t care itā€™s a Jeep itā€™s meant for me to break some stuff

Wow Scott where is that? Texas? Here in Left Pussified NY state when I go to the country itā€™s about 2/3 65mph and 1/3 55mph. I heard of someone getting a speeding ticket for 65 in a 55 open highway which I think is a s-bag move on the cop. I use 4th gear if I drive in the 50ā€™s. If I stuck to 55 Iā€™d have 2 gears that I never use. I mind as well get a horse and carriage.

Yes, this is in Texas. ... and usually, cops don't start looking at you until at least 10 over. Yes, Texas traffic often moves at near 100 mph. However, given our wide open spaces, we'd never get anywhere at 55 or 65mph.
