Many Jeeps are pieces of shit. This one seems to fit that family.

Looks like you’re only a couple days away from lemon. If it were me, I would.

It’s a shame the engineering and manufacturing quality of the vehicle doesn’t match the amazing capability and styling. A vehicle with wasted potential.
The actual lemon on the lemon tree is a work of art , and is a worthy work of nature .

Humans degrade their "work product" to something worthless , with no quality control .

Still no Jeep

Still no ETA

Sent an email to everyone i could the other day, service manager, dealer manager, Mike Manley. Got a call early yesterday, for some reason i got a new case manager, he was going to do some calling around and and let me know what he could figure out.

Never heard back from him.

Unreal...
I'd be in jail by now. No freaking way I wouldn't lose my chit and be in someone's face. Hope they make it right for you, eventually.

Keep us updated
Latest update.

The new case manager seems to be getting some things done. They could not source the parts, so they are finally sending out a brand new, complete transmission. Should be there Friday.

There is talk about payment assistance and a Maxcare extended warranty.

I would bet that they are a bit concerned since today is 30 days, I could lemon law it now.

Now you're in the driver's seat . Don't settle or buy back until you are fully knowledgeable . If I were you , I'd talk to a lemon law attorney to know all of your options and rights .

They should have replaced the entire tranny once they knew the parts were not available.

There’s another member that can’t even get a replacement rear shock to replace a leaking shock. It’s been months now. Seriously, FCA can’t provide a shock?

More profit in putting that shock on a vehicle they can sell vs. pulling inventory to fix one that's already sold.

We love our BMW and a lot of it is because of this service even for oil changes. Sorry to see this isn't the case with Jeep.
Lincoln brings me a loaner and valets the car to the dealership.
My JL was dead at 47 miles and I've had a Ram 1500 loaner since August 29th.
Ram isn't so goo on the trail but great for hauling manure and such.

Just reread Oregon lemon law. 30 calender days, not business as I previously thought.

7 more days... Sucks, I really like the Jeep.
Jey.
My first only lasted 46 miles before by back. Was less than 14 days.
Waiting on my 2019 now. It's a Sport S Unlimited.
Don't want the extra Rubicon weight behind my motorhome.

Picked it up with 26 miles drove 21 home and heard a high pitched whine. Thought it was alternator noise or a shipping protector as I had one on my 17 Lincoln brake.
Returned to dealer next morning.
They were slammed but put me at front of the line and sent me off in the Ram.
We'll they were intrigued and 3 took it for a test drive. Traced noise to rear axel differential shim or bearing failure.
They told FCA it should be replaced not rebuilt. Parts searched for a week with no luck. Checked Dealers nationwide no luck on axle.
Checked with Dana and they couldn't even come up with a production let alone delivery date.
By jack began the next day. Ordered August 8 delivery to Southern California August 28.
Returned August 29. Had it less than 20 hours.
Dealer has been great and FCA not too bad.
We have pretty strong consumer protections here in California.
Again. Dealer here in Thousand Oaks has been great.
My replacement was ordered September 15. Got the LSD rear axel to change it up.
Have a FCA lesion watching production. I'm D1 and scheduled for mid October early production as many replacements are. Just in line retool limbo now.

Good luck and best wishes . Cali protections might be a reason to not buy out of state .

36 days. Just picked my Jeep up last night.

It was actually done the day before. When I went to pick it up, I found a huge scuff in the paint on the driver side rear door. The thing was filthy from sitting in their shop for 5 weeks. They couldn't be bothered to wash it.

I left it over night for them to have their detail guy wash and fix it.

I must say, my case manager is going the extra mile to make up for my lost use of my Jeep.

Is it just me or does it seem like dealerships are taking failed JLs into their service depts. and keeping them for excessive periods of time? 35 days for the issue you were having makes me feel like they just don't know how to work on these Jeeps. And, in a lot of cases, have to have a specialist or engineer come down from Chrysler or somewhere to help with the fix.

I wonder how many of those 35 days the vehicle just sat with nothing done to it as well. From all the experiences I've read on here, plus my own, it seems like service efficiencies are lacking big time.
