I've begun to notice (not that it's changed, I've just been noticing more things) that the fender flares on my Rubi are not so much black, but a dark gray & with all the rest (rock sliders, bumpers, etc) being black, this is really starting to bug me:
has anyone attempted to spray paint their fender flares an actual black? in the end, it might be more than it's worth as far as time goes, but just kind of wondering out loud

Have you used a plastic restorer product such as; CarGuys Plastic Restorer, Meguiar's Ultimate Black Plastic Restorer, Solution Finish Black Plastic and Vinyl Restorer, Turtle Wax Trim Restorer, or even a more expensive option, CeraTrim - Ceramic Powered Trim Restorer.

Personally I wouldn't try spray painting the fender flares. Unless you have a quality paint applied using an actual spray gun the results from a spray could look like an amateur job. Probably wouldn't hold up well to the environment and soon look worse than what you have now.
