Well folks, I traded it in and will be moving on. But I am going to keep up with the forums to see how things go and what is in store for the next model.
Hopefully they fix the clutches and bubbling paint by then. Maybe, just maybe... one day in the future i'll consider it again.
I just didn't want to deal with any more hassles. Not worth it at this point.

Twice before I tried to move on; both times I was back in a Wrangler within six months. Granted, I wasn’t dealing with a faulty clutch or bubbling paint.

Good luck.

Traded it in for what?
Got a Mazda CX-9. Was tempted by the Palisade but it didn’t pass the updated crash test so no go.
I will hopefully be trouble free for a few years.

You should also go Bye Bye. 😁 Just Kidding. Why not find a forum for your new vehicle?

Oh yes I will for sure.

But I still love jeeps so wanna keep informed. Maybe I’ll try it again someday.

At least the clutch is an easy fix. The bubbling not so much. I was ready to put the CF clutch in but the bubbling made me move on.

I've had 6 jeeps now, and every time I get rid of one I say that's that last one. Well here we go again.....I already miss my 4Runner sometimes, because every time I go somewhere I am just waiting for the next sensor light to go mental. Today's light was the dreaded rear locker sensor for no reason at all. Pathetic state of electronics on these Wranglers.
