SO 50 feet on winch and about a 47 foot extension.
Will make a few more different lengths
I'm doing something a little different, I'm only putting 50' of 3/8 rope on my winch.Hmmm. I just use a pulley when the pull is going to be hard.
I like a guy that has 4 pulleys. I carry 2 and half a dozen soft shackles and 100ft extension in addition to the 90ft on my winch. I've often wondered if I should have made a 200ft extension. But, then, I've only used it once and it was enough.Finished up my shackle/snatchblock box, $9 box, pulled foam

Keep scratches/dings etc to a minimum during storage, transport etctin jeep, better than bouncing around with tools and shit
Well, apparently what I have discovered on this site is most folks wheel in drier, slickrock conditions I'm guessing.
it's nothing to attach to front and side And winch off camber around trees, combine that with a tree strap attached to the rear off a couple trees with a bridle to winch someone, thats 2 to start with and several straps. Also combine that with a winch to sliders and another to front or rear. You can easily use 4+ shackles/snatchblocks.
I'll make and carry probably 8 soft shackles, when your winching up hills 50 ft at a time, there is tons of rigging.
I'd rather have the tools and not need them and now days, everything is stronger and lighter.
All it takes is one time...it's so nice, 20 years ago what I have for recovery now, would weigh 200 lbs + and it's maybe 15 lbs total.I like a guy that has 4 pulleys.
