Got the hinges mounted and locked down , off to paint Monday. Everything is new , expensive but no 2 door kits available around here

Do yourself a favour and have them paint underneath the hinges. Any physical barrier between the dissimilar metals will help avoid corrosion.

I had my body shop look at them
I got the newest hinges with the zinc plates , do you still recommend that?

I would recommend all precautions. Painting under the hinges costs nothing.
I have the zinc plated hinges, fully painted doors and 3M under the hinges as a further precaution.

No problem.

We, brightly coloured 2019’s have to stick together. A Mojito 2 door with half doors is very nearly as cool as a Bikini 2 door with half doors

The half doors are the next best thing to no doors! They're cool when you put them on. You REALLY miss them when you put the full doors back on, like I do for the winter. It's almost claustrophobic...

They're not dissimilar metals. The hinges and the doors are both aluminum.
