Vehicle(s)
2018 JLUR GCM 2018 JLUS Firecracker Red
- JL 2 or 4 door
- Have steering issues resolved with dealer ( new versions replace track bar, steering Stabilizer, software update for steering sensitivity, and/or adjust or replace steering box)
- Purchase the Mopar 2" lift lower control arms or aftermarket as they are longer than OEM by 1/4 which helps add caster 6.5
Longer LCA are not necessary but works very well
- Purchase a new Steering Stabilizer (OEM upgraded one is still weak)
- Purchase 2018/2019 Rubicon JLU springs, shocks and front shock mounts only from a JLUR with Steel Bumpers, Dual Top or HT and Tow Package (This will give you the best spring/shock combo for OEM)

The difference is night and day on handling, allows 37 with slight rub on full flex, 35 no problem, tracks straight no play in steering, beats up speed bumps like Mike Tyson used to, no body roll and feels very planted and so fun to drive on road and really shines off road.

Jeep should get rid of all the different springs and shocks and only provide Rubicon highest rated springs and shocks to all trims.
Rubicon gets the Red shocks and all other trims get the black.

2018 JLUR donor parts:
Front shocks: 68330209AA (2)
Rear shocks: 68330210AA (2)

Front Springs: 3659AB Left (Drivers side)
3660AB Right (Passenger side)

Rear Springs: 3590AA Left (Drivers side)
3591AA Right (Passenger side)

Higher number 92 is available from some early 19's.

- Purchase 2018/2019 Rubicon JLU springs, shocks and front shock mounts only from a JKUR with Steel Bumpers, Dual Top or HT and Tow Package (This will give you the best spring/shock combo for OEM and will lift a Sport s about 2.75" to 3", Sahara about 2.70, and a slight increase for a JLUR with no HT or tow package)

2.7 to 3”??? What?
For my Sahara, I got at most 0.75” in the front and 1” in the back from the Rubicon Springs.
Makes sense since Sport has 9.7” Saharas have 10” ground clearance and Rubicons have 10.8”

Corrected original post. Does provide a nice lift increase over stock.
