You part of the crew hitting the Rubicon this week? I was talking with some of the Jamboree guys last weekend, and they said that this is the week they're trail-testing the 4xE.

The rear seat cushions flip upright forward, then the seat back folds forward down on top of the battery pack where the seat cushions were. The seat backs end up pretty level but probably 6-8 inches higher than the rear load floor. (No real measurement taken)
I guess no air mattress back there for camping inside unless some kind of new floor or drawer system is inserted in the cargo area. I say that because my daughter has done that a couple times in my 2019 JLU.
Cluster left side has tach with temp gauge, right side is charge vs power output with fuel level gauge. Of course in the middle you'll also have Speedo, SOC, range, avg mpg...

Looks like rear passengers will sit higher than normal?

Is it silent when in electric only mode? Like if you were out on the trail, doors and top off, crawling along at 8 mph, would the only sound be the crunching of twigs and a faint electric motor whine? Because that’s the biggest appeal to me.

Not that I’ll be getting one because I like my jeeps in two-door, manual transmission flavor, but it would be neat to see someone else out there wheeling along silently.

edit: I should clarify the reason I’m asking. There have been proposals to force auto manufacturers to make electric vehicles create artificial noise so you can’t catch pedestrians off guard as easily.

I wish that was the case! Sadly no.

First off, thanks for sharing.

I drive with the seat low and quite far back, how far forward are the front seats to fully fold the rears?

thanks

OP said it was the base 4xe (I don't think they are calling it a Sport) with upgrades. Looks good.
I'm wondering what the Sahara version looks like if that's the base, lol.

Nothing on pricing, can't help you there. We all need to wait for the order system to open up or it gets announced.
Will the order system be open in December? I read somewhere here it could be Q1 2021.

Right, from the outside it looks like a Sahara Altitude or High Altitude, in some part probably due to the upgrades. For Sahara, I'd expect some more standard features as well as features not available on this level just like the normal line up, especially interior. Maybe the 8.4 radio, leather, 2nd row charge/power ports , color matched fenders (if these fenders were not standard here), . Just guessing...
