My dealership just burned down

Pretty sad, actually. My inside sources in the local PD say it looks like arson.
The dealership was moribund, because the old owners sucked so badly, and these guys took it over a year ago, hoping to resuscitate it.
They gave me a great deal, and have been standup in the ensuing 6 weeks. I like them.
I hope they didn’t burn it down.

Wow, that's unfortunate. Hope things get rebuilt. Count your blessings your Jeep was not there at the time.

Indeed. They owed me an oil change, tire rotation, and a detail as part of the purchase, but those are very small potatoes overall.

You could probably get with another dealership and get the same deal if they know the circumstances. Plus you have the 4 free oil changes with the Jeep Wave program anyway.

Yes, any new jeep from (I think 2016?? someone will correct me I'm sure) has 4 free oil changes and 4 free tire rotations. Just look up the Jeep Wave program and enroll. Your VIN number should be sufficient for membership. You can go to any Jeep dealer.

Not to open up a can of worms again, but if you do elect the Jeep wave oil changes by the dealer, make sure they only put 5 qts of oil in a JL instead of 6 qts for the JK. Just look up the thousands of posts regarding this issue on this forum. You will learn a great deal from others.

I’m finding a near-total failure in “Jeep wave” response here in rural Texas.
Drove 1-ton Duallys for 20+ years, and a lift of the forefinger off of the steering wheel was damn near universally recognized and responded to.
Seems like most Jeeps are driven by women here, though.
I wouldn’t wave back to an unknown man if I was a woman either.
All good.

you need both hands on the wheel, in case you need to bulldog the "wobble"...

Here in AZ, I wave and get ton's of waves when driving the TJ. Most of the modded Jeeps, (that show evidence of off-roading), and that driver generally waves... Most of the mall crawlers have no clue...

Is it Worthington Chrysler Jeep Dodge? They had a fire on the 16th, but it wasn't that bad and they will be back open on the first.
