Is it the camera angle, or is the behind the seat storage bigger in the JL than the JK?

Geeez, thanks for the pics! Hey, is the rear seat still easily removable? I see seatbelts laced into back of them??

Look closer, I don't think those are seatbelts. Look like some sort of velcro straps. and the seatbelt looking loops at the top look like some sort of place to grab or seat release straps.

It's bigger by a few inches, here's some photos from my 2018 JL and 2012 JK both Rubicons

It's identical to my JK 2012 Rubicon, may be a little heavier in the 2018 JL if anything. The paint on the JL seat looks a little better quality than my JK which was a flat paint, vs the JL is gloss. ( On the rear seat latch bars )

Yes, just saw the newly added pics and it is still removable. I also like the led light back there and the 12v.

Foldable rear headrests, praise the lord!!

My 2 dr. will have the Alpine sub and loss of cubby, but no big deal to me.

Thanks for taking the time to answer questions. OH, can you take a measurement from a flat say concrete floor from the bottom edge of the 2" square trailer hitch receiver to the concrete floor for me, please. I need to know if I need to go out and get a different drop receiver.

It still blows my mind that they placed the subwoofer in the floor of the cargo compartment.

My 2015 JKU has it in the floor too.

A poor design. My 2012 JK has it on the side. If it’s on the floor, it ends up getting muffled.

Haven't noticed that in mine, but I have rarely had a full load. One thing I can say about the floor sub-it is hearty and definitely waterproof. I spilled an entire bottle of Coke shortly after I first got it. Removed the sub, brought it in the house and soaked and sprayed it out a few times. Figured it was probably ruined anyway so I might as well try. It still works perfectly three years later.

Some few questions:

  1. How's the turning radius?
  2. Stable in the wind?
  3. How's the ride?
  4. How's the acceleration?
  5. How's the clutch play?
  6. Have you had it off road yet?
    • How stable does it feel with a leg in the air?
    • Is the gearing as good as its touted?
  7. Have you had the roof and doors off yet? Pics!
  8. Have you found the straps that hold the rear seat when folded? Review!
  9. Have you reviewed the welds?
  10. What's your mileage?
