MVP Lifetime Max Care Warranty no longer offered after November 30, 2018

MVP Lifetime warranties will cease being offered after Nov 30th. You can still get one so long as your vehicle is under 48 months old (that's kind of easy for a JL ) and less than 48,000 miles.

I'm already set, warranty-wise, but I see that some people are a little freaked out over this. Does anybody here know if the rumors are true? Neither post makes a backlink to any press/media release that confirms. Just people saying they were told first-hand.
