Ive attached some photos.

Excuse my stupidity, but "lines" on the rear window, are they a heating element or an antenna?

If they are a heating element, to defrost, how do I even turn it on? And are they supposed to looked "burnt" like in the photos?

The musty smell...I recently started smelling a moldy, musty smell in the cabin. I couldnt figure it out. Like if something had gotten wet and never dried out. I cleaned up and down, vacuumed everything, fabreezed, lysoled...nothing.

Then by chance I noticed the smell was coming from these little vents. Anyone have a clue why? Is that part of the cabin filter? I havent removed the filter yet. I sprayed lysol into that vent on both sides and the smell has been eliminated.

Press the defroster button to turn it on.. but that burned color doesn't look right though..
You might also want to change your cabin air filter inside the glovebox compartment.

All of which are written in the manuals..
