The fox 2.0s for no lift are only 2.25" longer than the stock shocks. Better droop travel but nowhere near enough to necessitate any other changes. When the extended length get up to 28-29" you can run into drive shaft bind which is usually the 1st big hurdle. The 2 0 non-resirvoir are only 25.8" if I remember right. No other mods needed.
Thank you! I appreciate the quick response as well. I'll be looking into doing this ASAP.

Day 1:
  1. Angry grille
  2. Ducks across the dash
  3. Tube fenders, color matched of course
  4. 37" mud tires on 22's
  5. Light bars on the windshield, grille, and bumper.
  6. Color changing under glow lights
  7. Tube doors, color matched
  8. 1,000 watt subwoofer

Ok, after I kick my own ass, I'll start with the real list.
  1. Skid plates
  2. Winch
  3. Radios for trail coms
  4. Fire extinguishers
What, no accent color hinge covers?

That's optional for the advanced mall crawler once your flock of toddler dash toys sweeps across your entire dash.

That's so awesome you got to include your daughter in the build! I bet she loves it.
Yeah, it was late nights for about 3 weeks to sew this together. It’s partly hidden in this picture by the B/O light, but my hood number (which follows the format for Jeeps in WWII) contains my daughter’s birthday 05-30-03.

SHOCKS! Even if you don't plan to lift it the stock shocks are garbage. Especially on a sport. Under dampened for any kind of bumps at speed and ridiculously short travel. Just 5.88" of stroke up front. Virtually every after market shock for no lift will have 9-11" of stroke. All will do a better job of dampening. A 53-85% increase in suspension travel for as little as $400 and better handling and ride control. Obviously if you're going full lift soon just upgrade the shocks then, but if you're keeping it mostly stock throw that stock junk in the trash ASAP. Even with the xr package and it's extra long bumpstops and long compressed length shocks you still only get 7.5" of travel. With that bumpstop you can run rocksport reds that have 12"+. The only reason the Bronco and 4runner are even in the ballpark on the stock rti ramp comparisons is the terrible factory shock choices. Even the raptor won't come close to the wheel travel of a stock Jeep with a shock upgrade.
Are you saying even the Rubicon shocks are garbage? I was going to do the Rubicon take offs and replace the sport springs/shocks

I'd agree with @jeepingib that they are mediocre at best. A decent upgrade over the sports if you get them free or nearly free. Pretty much any aftermarket decent shock will be much better.

Please don't pay for them. They should be free from one Jeeper to another. Not worth spending more than a six pack of beer on.

Woah good thing I haven't bought them yet, I see them on fb marketplace for like $150-200

What aftermarket options are worth getting for a Sport? If not looking for a huge lift or anything just a decent upgrade

I've posted this in other threads... This is probably my favorite FREE mod. 🙂

Jeep Wrangler JL Must do MODS for first time owner {filename}
Doing this next haha just heat gun and peel?
I used a hair dryer. Peel the sticker slowly at 180° while continuing to apply heat. It will come off. The visor vinyl will "pucker" a little but it will quickly tighten up.
