I purchased a 2019 JL Unlimited Wrangler Sport S 4 CYL 3 weeks ago on 3/31 . In the first three weeks I've had a series of intermittent issues with the Vehicle that started and progressed over the first 10 days.

Displayed warnings related to check engine light
1) Service Start/Stop Warning
2) Electronic Stability Control Warning
3) Electronic Throttle Control Warning
4) Serv 4WD warning

I've also had issues with the cruise control turning off on a hard shift, and occasional rpm spike while somwhere between 40-55 MPH

I took the jeep in last Friday and was told that there was a part ordered for the exhaust system, and told I would be fine to drive (4/12). Friday evening, I was driving down to the coast and basically all four warnings above came on, and I lost power with a system message that I needed to service the vehicle. I couldn't get the vehicle above 2000 RPMs (my guess) and was able to pull over. I turned the car off and restarted and the vehicle resumed normal operation. The check engine light did come back on, and I took it to the dealership the next morning.

It's been in the shop since and I've been told that I need to replace the vacuum hoses. They are on order. Does anyone know whether the vaccum hoses would cause all the issues above. I find that hard to believe, but I am new to the Jeep.

Welcome. Wish I had a resolution for you, but I am currently awaiting my dealer's 2nd attempt at fixing issue #1.

My wife doesn't see how any 2.0 problems are possible , the 2.0 is perfect and has zero issues. Just read the 2.0 section. They never have any problems from the start stop itā€™s flawless and perfect in every way. And much much faster than 3.6 also.

Wait, donā€™t you know? Wife problems are not possible; they are perfect and have zero issues. Just read the wife forums. They never have problems from the start and are flawless and perfect in every way. Any issues are due to the husband.

I had some good advice given to me about electrical a couple days ago.
Didnt really dawn on me, but...open your fuse box and push in all the fuses and relays. A free and easy check.

I'm glad you see the 2.0T for what it really is (or at least your wife does). Don't forget it's what all the cool kids are putting in their jeeps these days! ;)

But to the OP's issues... a vacuum hose problem could wreak havoc so certainly plausible that it could cause the problems he's having. Also great advice from @PremixIsLife to be sure all the fuses are seated. But in any case given how obvious his symptoms are it shouldn't be TOO hard to track down.

Update...

So after a week, vacuum pump and hoses replaced. I picked it up today. I made it roughly 20 miles and the check engine light is back on. I'm also getting the auto start/stop warning again as well.

Back to the shop tomorrow. Is this unique to the 2.0L or do the 3.6L suffer the same issues?

I was able to push all of my fuses in at least a little bit. Most were lose enough to pull out with just a tiny tug using my finger tips.

I have a 19 JLUR. While I have not experienced any problems, after reading this forum I checked to ensure that my fuses were all pushed in. I found that 17 of them were not seated all the way into the panel and were loose. I imagine if I would have kept driving that problems would have popped up.

I had the service start/stop for about a month, but it was intermittent. Mine would malfunction at long stops. Turns out, there was a loose wire. I've got the 3.6.

It's not just the start stop, that's one of the recurring issues that keeps coming up (e.g. rough shifting, etc.) They did a software update over the weekend for high idling codes, but problems resurfaced over the weekend as the technician drove it a longer distance. They're going to try to figure it out this week.

Thanks for the suggestions. I did verify the fuses were all seated and brought up some of the other comments to the dealership as well.
