2018 Rubicon 2.0T with stock suspension and 37" STT Pros....I average 13-15mpg city. Pretty shitty, but I have a short commute to work.

Well, this thread is interesting. Stupid dealers...said they wouldn't put 35's on the 2.0L due to it being a potential dog. I wanted to test one to compare.
You guys are rolling 37's with it with better mileage than I would've ever thought...not that I'm all that worried about that.
This definitely has me rethinking my new purchase...

Find a new dealer. The torque numbers instantly call their comment BS.

Yeah, I have determined that the dealers that surround me (15 min drive) are eeeediots and/or very ill informed.

I guess my only other question would be towing with the JLUR setup on 37's with stock gearing. I have two skis that I guess reach about 2,200 lbs loaded wet. I get around fine with the 3.6/6spd fine now, but not sure if it would stress the 2.0L too much.

Again torque numbers. The 2.0 will be fine.

The reason it’s not in gladiator is they would have had to open up the grill to add more cooling. The 2.0 is a dragon and loves airflow.

I was a manual guy in my JK. This new auto in the JL paired with the 2.0 is fantastic. I know it’s hard to give up mentally but one week in and you will be like “why did I wait this long”.

No upgrades yet, but on my 3rd tank in my JLUR 2.0, stock everything, I'm getting 21-22 mpg. It depends on how often I have the family with me.

I have 37s (General Grabbers) running 26psi cold / 30 psi hot. My wheels are Method 105 beadlocks, with a Metalcloak Gamechanger 2.5", a Metalcloak front bumper (with a winch and a stinger) and lastly a recently added Smittybilt rear bumper. I also carry my spare on the tailgate. It also doesn't help that I'm 275# myself (and on a diet).
I'm getting 16 mpg.
Before I added all those mods, I was getting 22-26mpg with 50/50 hwy/traffic

Do you live in the hills or the flat parts of Austin? I'm still sitting around 21 mpg... stock, and same 50/50. For Moab I'm adding beadlocks and 35's, but no lift. @ C Rated, with proper PSI I'd imagine I'll still be 18-19. Don't think I really need a lift considering it's already sitting taller than JKU Rubi stock, and honestly even stock with good lines I'll probably go everywhere on 6 and below trails, but the 35's will just make it a bit less of a crazy focused wheeling day. I think it'll be a good balance, and the 4.4" of backspacing on the beadlocks should keep the tires off of the frame for 95% of the obstacles. I'm pretty sure the stock alignment doesn't have enough caster though, so I'm going to also get it aligned before hand to add some caster.

I don't think caster is adjustable unless you buy some parts like longer lower control arms

It is. Just not much. I might not be phrasing that right but with a proper alignment the caster should end up within spec

2.0 JlUR

Wife took these pictures 7th gear was uphill with cruise control and 8th was straight road at 75 mph

So, kind of curious. Who here has/has not reprogrammed the computer for the bigger tires? I'm wondering what the numbers look like with vs. without.

On a side note, I brought my trailer with the skis to the dealer since they let me test drive the JLUR 3.6 and 2.0T with the trailer attached. I will say, very impressed with both setups...the transmission definitely helps, but the 2.0T definitely had an easier time of it. When rolling at 70, the 3.6 stayed in 6th and the 2.0 stayed in 7th gear no problem.

I finally ordered my new JLUR 2.0L this past Sat...got my VIN yesterday.

37's will be on in the near future...
