One tank of gas, what do you think...
Sponsored
Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sport S@BobbyC40 Very encouraging to see a number in the mid-twenties
Can you give us any details on your JL?
Which model?
6-speed or auto?
AT tires or AS tires?
And I assume this occurred in 2-wheel drive, downhill, with a tailwind, and driven like my grandmother
I don't usually run on E, this was just to see what I can get out of one full tank. By the way, the tank filled up with just slightly over 19 gallons.I do not let my gas tank run down to E and just troop around.
The fuel pump is in fact cooled by the gas in the tank, so running the tank to E leaves less gas in the tank to properly cool fuel the pump...As a result is lets say hard on the fuel pump / may affect longevity of it. This concern is even more pronounced when driving in very warm/hot weather.
I hear ya... I posted mainly so guys/gals do know that E and fuel pump is a bad combo in hot weather.I don't usually run on E, this was just to see what I can get out of one full tank. By the way, the tank filled up with just slightly over 19 gallons.
Thanks DadI do not let my gas tank run down to E and just troop around.
