Yeah, but that’s what I’m afraid of, as it implies that it’s electronically controlled, and thus not the purely mechanical like the NV242, which most of us SelecTrac fans actually want.Probably pulled from a Ram, or based on it. It sounds exactly like what my previous Silverado and current f150 do when set to 4A. I assume Ram has the same thing.
If you order a base Rubi with diesel you can be under 50K no problem. Especially since the dealers seem to be honoring the Tread Lightly 1% below invoice program.I'll eat your hat if a diesel can be found for under 55k.
I hope so!If you order a base Rubi with diesel you can be under 50K no problem. Especially since the dealers seem to be honoring the Tread Lightly 1% below invoice program.

When it happens, show me. In reality, I don't think it will be that simple.I hope so!
How much do we expect a base rubi to be (invoice)? The ecodiesel should be about $4,005 more (invoice) than the 3.6L per the Grand Cherokee. When it happens, show me. In reality, I don't think it will be that simple.
If that's the case (no more than $45k) you should be able to order a base Rubi, add the ecodiesel, and be just under $50k (barely)Base Rubi should be about $45k. But, these things are going to be high demand and dealers will order them up loaded. They won't be easy to get unless demand is soft. Listening to the excitement in the Jeep community, I don't believe it will be soft. Nobody is going to order one without options, either. Dealers will play games if someone attemts to. I may be wrong, but I don't think so. We'll see come August.
On paper, or in theory. If a hot item, reality will be different. We'll see when someone tries it. Add a couple popular option groups and it'll get north of 55. Loaded, it will push to 57 or 58. Mot will sticker around 58, I'm predicting. When pricing is known on my well optioned JLUR 3.6 manual, we'll get a realistic idea. I'll share when that happens. If that's the case (no more than $45k) you should be able to order a base Rubi, add the ecodiesel, and be just under $50k (barely)
I guess we will see. Will be interesting to see if the $4k number is really it or not considering the GC comes with an AT and the base Wrangler/Rubi is with the MT and the current JK is a $1250 adder for the AT. I wonder f the ecodiesel will be more like $5k because it will require an AT upgrade as well.On paper, or in theory. If a hot item, reality will be different. We'll see when someone tries it. Exactly. Base +1500 is the starting point. The diesel will add another 4 grand, I'm betting. Now you are at or above 50k.I guess we will see. I know my dealer ordered his allocation of 15 fully loaded.Base Rubi should be about $45k. But, these things are going to be high demand and dealers will order them up loaded. Diesels? When I ordered, you couldn't get the diesel yet. But, that's what I'm saying. Nobody will get a base Rubi diesel. They'll be loaded.I know my dealer ordered his allocation of 15 fully loaded.
