Moving on Dirt Road will mudflaps protect my JL?

Hello fellow Jeepers. I am in the process of building a new home on an amazing piece of property but unfortunately 3/4 mile of dirt road to get home. First thought is to get mudflaps although not crazy about that look. Considered rock rails but don't want my un-lifted black sport altitude to look even lower.

Any mudflap suggestions?

Would it be weird if I only put flaps on the front? (again not crazy about the look)

I got the Rokblokz. Expensive but the only ones I could find that were wide enough to cover my aftermarket tires. If you go this route I can post some tips/photos about some deviations from the Installation instructions that were necessary. Hint: Dremel tool is very useful.

note also that these are designed to be easily removable because they are held in place with thumbscrews. Easy to remove when you go rockcrawling.

I would lift it a little and then put a running boards and mud flaps to protect it. I have a Rubicon and still no running boards, first trip on gravel , dirt road and already some chipping on the rear door hinges and front of the rear fenders. To save from further damage I just taped the lower front part of the rear fenders, also put some tape on the lower rear door hinges and gonna keep it that way till I install running boards. I will probably also install a bigger mudflaps on front.

I live 4/10 of a mile on a gravel road. Highly endorse RokBloks. I also have a full paint protection wrap which doesn't hurt

I have the same issue, plus the dirt,salt, and slush of Winter.
Installed Mopar Side Steps , Mopar splash guards front and rear. Sealed the gap between the running board and body with pre-split pipe insulation. Does a great job of keeping crud of every description off the body

I have no mudflaps only the mopar side steps. I have no issues with throwing rocks and the water it does kick up only hits my steps or rear bumper. I’m running an AT tire so that helps to. If you are running a MT that is definitely an issue.
