I currently have a '18 JLUR with 18" TIS 543B tires (-44mm offset) running Cooper Discover AT3 tires (M+S 35x12.50R18LT).

I'm looking to have a slightly more aggressive look with some 37s but not sure what size tire I'd need or what tire. I've been thinking something like Nitto Ridge but don't want it to be too noisy on the highway. I don't drive the Jeep a lot, putting less than 6k miles on it in the 1.5 yrs I've had it. I do want to take it offroad and have decent performance but be able to drive it to the airport as well (post-covid era).

I do have a MetalCloak 2.5 Gamechanger along with MC fenders, so plenty of clearance for larger tires.

What are your thoughts?

Also, I'm not opposed to swapping wheels as well. I like the "more tire" look and moving to 17s might help with the look.

37x12.50x17 will definitely be more common than an 18”. I run the 37x12.50x17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers and they are super quiet on the street. No real off-roading for me. I guess a mall crawler/pavement princess :). I have them mounted on Dirty Life 17x9 -12. My axles are narrower than your Rubi but still looks aggressive enough for me.

Thanks. That does look good. Looks like the same tire for 18" is about 80-100 more per tire than they are for 17" :(

By the way, here's a shot of the Jeep showing plenty of room for bigger tires :)

Nice... definitely plenty of room. Agree those tires keep going up in price per rim size. Look at what they cost for 20s
