I know there are a fair amount of options out there at this point for steering stabilizers. Many of them are for lifted vehicles only. My question, is there any advantage to changing mounting points/location of the stabilizer? They are essentially just shock absorbers and I have some ideas floating around in my head on changing the stabilizer itself or fabbing something to if it makes sense/helps.Is it the "shock" itself or has the geometry changed?
A good friend of mine is a fabricator by trade and I'd love to spend a few hours on a little project like this with him. I obviously need to gain some more knowledge on stabilizers in general. And then having done so it seems like the sky is the limit for selecting a stabilizer from different manufacturers, assuming I dont have to be locked down to factory dims etc. I have experienced life changing results switching to some expensive, high end shocks. I wonder if using the same type would work well in this, obviously different, application.
