I would like to a pair of aux lights to the front steel bumper of JLR. I saw where Baja Designs has a specific set of lights designed for that position but they seem to be the only one. How as everyone mounted their lights to the bumper? Existing bolt hole? Bracket? I am looking at the KC Flex 4 but would consider others if they perform the same and mount clean and neat.

There are several companies the make bull bars that include tabs for light mounts. That seems to be the most common solution for those who keep the factory bumper. That’s what I did. The bull bars attach to the OEM bumper using the factory holes and bolts.

Thanks. I have started looking at some of those bull bars. Some seem to make it tight to access a winch but still usable

I drilled holes for my BD LP6 lights and to get them right where I wanted them. Be sure to paint any bare metal, should you decide to drill. I used Rustoleum Rust Reformer. It acts like a primer and sticks to the bare metal very well.

2.0" fits the Mopar bar
Ok, thanks. I was thinking it was 2", but wasn't sure if the coating on it made it big enough to need a different clamp.

If you ordered the front factory trail cam and steel bumpers, choose an "outboard" location for the off road lights so that they do not block the view of the forward trail cam. I used existing bolts/holes to mount my Mopar lights.

How tight is it to install and work around the winch with the Maximus mount?
I didn't have an issue at all. There is a good 1"+ worth of space between the winch (Zeon 10-S in my case) and where you need to get your fingers and a tool for the nuts. So unless you have serious sausage fingers or a bigger winch it should be fine 😎
