I really wanted mine under the hood for easy of hookup but ya I honestly don't know how anything like a compressor could last with that engine heat, and since I have the ARB Wiring Harness for fridge running to the rear, I may just use a Power Junction back there and plug wire it there. I'm waiting on my Poison Spyder bumpers to see if I can rig it behind there somehow as well.

I installed my ARB dual compressor today using ARB’s new underseat mount. It’s much further under the seat than the other underseat product I’ve seen.

Nice product, terrible instructions!

That does look further in then the other under seat mounts. With that being said; nice photographs mate.

I have often wondered about mounting inside a bumper; front and/or rear. Still haven’t found the bumpers I want to commit too.

I have and still love the Kansas underhood bracket. very innovative, and so far no issues at all. Great to have air and not have to sacrifice other much needed space. the install was a little tricky, but pretty easy once I figured out a good way, was able to do it by myself prety quickly.
I've been using the @Kansascoast bracket since last year and it has been great. Having the lift/shocks installed today and they said it was in the way. I'm getting the TeraFlex Falcon 3.1 piggybacks. Anyone else have this issue?

Yep. Bob warned me before I bought it that if I ever wanted the teraflex shocks, it won’t work. I want Kings or Radflos anyway...

I just contacted DV8 to see if their mount will work. Waiting for a response.

I ran into the same problem when I installed the Falcon 3.1 shocks so had to come up with another solution. It now mounts on the firewall. It still sits up high enough to be protected by the fender liner and above fording depth.

Wow, terrific pictures and annotation! Better than most "professional" documentation from suppliers. Thanks for taking the time to do this and share.

That is outstanding!! What bracket is that, though? Not the original one I got from you...?

When I found that I couldn’t use the original one with the Falcon 3.1 shocks I had to either shuck the shocks or the under hood mount. Decided to try other options and made this one so I could have both.

So can you hook us up like before? How much for this one?

Dang it. Now I want this mount. Will Bob offer any discounts to prior buyers?

That's awesome @Kansascoast. ARB replaced one of my pumps. I am putting it back using your bracket but extending the air filters to above in the engine bay for better breathing and also putting in a heat shield. I like your new bracket as well.
