Mine is under the passenger seat. Bracket works like a charm. I believe it’s a JK modified bracket. Jesse at OC Motorsports did the install. Compressor is completely out of the way. Also got a 4-tire inflation kit. Amazing!

@chevymitchell installed mine. I’m pretty sure he said he ran the wiring to the drivers side firewall and through. Maybe he will chime in to give the details.

Good morning. Yes, I ran the motor power straight to the battery by going behind the passenger side carpet, over the hump (plenty of space behind the center console stack, and then up to the grommet on the driver's side. It was very straight forward.

I installed the bracket @kanascoast developed, I’m pleased with the result. Installation was very simple; if you remove the fender first you’ll have plenty of room to work in there.

For removing the fender, I followed these instructions (leaving the fender liner attached):

Here’s a couple pictures after bolting the compressor in and before reinstalling the fender...

This is a terrible location. The compressor is not water proof AT ALL and will get destroyed.

It’s a really tight fit but I don’t think there will be any issue.

I’ve got the WeatherTech rear floor mat. The ARB prevents the mat from laying flat. The mat could be trimmed to fit but I’ve got 3 young children and I actually like that it provides some protection for the compressor, so I have just left it as is.

When I run the compressor, I’ll unhook the mat from the passenger side and lay it over until it cools off.

Any idea what the clear tubing under the seats is? I noticed it while hunting a petrified french fry and you can see it in your picture, my first thought was "man this thing has an aquarium, those fish are sooo dead by now".

It's for the occupant sensor; part of the airbag system.

Got it, thanks. That's kind of what I was thinking as it is under the drivers seat as well, but I didn't really stay and explore got my french fry and bailed.

This problem is why I just got the portable kit. Remember, it's going to get hot and will burn anyone that touches it after it has been running.

I was thinking about that route until I decided to go with air lockers.

I went the PowerTank direction. I had an ARB Compressor on the JK and it worked great, but I prefer the Powertank now after using both.
I would love to go PowerTank, but I live in a shitty little town where getting it filled would be a PITA, getting it filled on a weekend would be impossible.

I'm in LA and there's a scuba shop a few miles from my house, but it takes at least half an hour or longer everytime I've been there to fill a pellet gun tank, since they have a lot of business renting everything from scuba gear to surfboards. Inconvenience in all the solutions, just gotta pick one that works for you. For me, I don't plan on airing down unless I come to a situation that requires it on a hunting trip or I get a flat that I can plug and fill on the axle. So, my compressor won't see much use.
