I recently got my hands on the first set of production sliders 2dr JLs from Motobilt. These things are amazing, craftmanship is second to none. I can't to get these mounted.

I've been looking at those! I installed Fishbone frame-mounted (actually attached to the body mounts, not the frame) which performed rather poorly protecting my Jeep from Sierra granite.

Did you end up installing? Would love to see these mounted up, there's still not many amazing options out there for the 2 door.

Beefy looking. website says nothing about weight. Looks about $630 after Black Friday 30% discount. I like it when the frame mounting plate has a leg under bottom of the frame rail. I wonder about our 10 Ga. 1/8th " frame holding up. Seems better if sliders bolt onto the frame.
I like the replicability of the bolt-on idea. I think there should be enough flat surface to drill 4+ holes per arm into the frame. How to secure the bolt on the inside? Maybe a welded in bung?

Do you have an update?
Did you install these? Have any pics? How did you mount them?

I havent installed these yet. I've got to cut the rear leg off and move it forward to accommodate for a long arm set up in the rear.

YOU are the reason I went with the Rockhard Patriot sliders.....I was looking at these and your picture demonstrated my exact fear and would make me sick.

(Thank you BTW)

following this thread. I imagine my Rampage sliders will at one point get destroyed on the rocks and I'll be in the market for something better.

These are pure beef and i've installed many of the 4dr and JT versions of these sliders. I've also installed the evo mfg weld on ones as well. Cant go wrong with either one but the motobilt sliders are definitely beefier. I need to do a weight comparasion but I'm 99% sure my 2dr slider weighs more than an evo mfg 4dr slider.

Sorry for the really delayed update. Got them installed along with some skins. I may be a little biased but I love the way they turned out.

Those look great. I'm partial to tnt because I want the step functionality but if I wanted high clearance those would be my pick. Everything I've got from Motobilt has been well made.
