So I installed (and absolutely love) Motobilt front and rear diff cover - M186/M200 respectively. They're crazy solid and look great painted red.

I haven’t wheeled yet but just an observation - anyone have any issues with the rear track bar contacting the diff cover?

I have 2.5” lift and I’m installing Falcon shocks later this week... I’m looking at the presumed additional down travel and wondering now if that could be a problem.

So anyone running these with any sort of lift and longer shocks have any contact issues? Did you do anything with your rear track bar?

Not worried about the front as I already replaced the track bar and can see there’s plenty of clearance.

Thanks in advance!

Cool, thanks! So I have stock track bar in the rear and no relocation bracket or anything.

Just to be clear - you have no issues with the Motobilt cover and an aftermarket rear track bar?

Another dumb question then, does your new rear track bar have any different a bend than the OEM one?
I’ll try to go out to the shop and compare several them. I think the aftermarket are a little more exaggerated to ensure clearance

Thanks for the feedback, Brett - and if you do confirm shape of the bend, that’d be awesome.

@Motobilt - any feedback?

Yeah the MC rear track bar and stock rear are considerably different. The MC allows for a lot more diff clearance I'd say

Here's the stocker, just a dip for exhaust clearance

Or, from another thread, if ya wanna see what happens when a "competent local" shop installed another board member's upside down, ya get this.

Scrolling thru his pics I didn't even notice but @rustyshakelford caught it right away

Unfortunately it’s a common mistake! Glad it was caught and corrected!

Now I haven't handled any of the RK stuff so I can't speak to their track bar(s), but I'd ASSume they did some clearance bends, also.

Awesome, thanks for the feedback! I’m going to try it out stock this weekend... new shocks are going on tomorrow so I’ll just find out I guess! Not worried about damaging the diff cover....

I did a little flexing in my back yard and I think maybe that track bar doesn’t move as much as I thought. I flex as best as I could and it looked like it had plenty of clearance. I also read first hand accounts of wheeling with the Falcon shocks I’m installing tomorrow and I hear it doesn’t actually add much droop in the rear - more in the front.

I’ll definitely keep eye out Saturday and will report back! For science!

My front RK trackbar is making contact with the front diff cover. I'm running the RK 2.5" xfactor lift with Falcon 3.3s
