Which components are the most important to cover with skid plates? If you weren't going to order a full underbody skid plate, which pieces would you pick to cover? I only take the jeep wheeling maybe once a month, but want to cover the important parts, that could potentially leave me stranded.

EDIT: I have the rubicon so there are some skid plates already....

Definitely the engine skid. Just wish there was a stand-alone one out there for the 2-door. :(

ya I want to find one for the Engine / Tran. I think anything else is pointless for the type of offered I do. That EVO one seems kind of weak though. Would it even hold up lol.

Even though Northridge says it works for the 2-door, EVO hasn't tested them on a 2-door. TNT Customs has one, but $500. Still looking for confirmed options.
Well that’s good to know. I was about to order them. Looks like Rockhard might have theirs available.

Yeah, I even talked with Northridge about the EVO. They don't have any info on the 2-door compatibility. Their pricing sheet just says it will work with both. I wish Rockhard would just sell the engine skid by itself. I called and they won't. :( Told me some bs about the transmission being too long. lol.
And they aren't saying it won't work, they just don't know.

I guess us 2 door guys are now the red headed step children of the Jeep world. Somewhere, a tear runs down a CJ fender.
