Well, it's me again. I am in the home stretch and ran into an annoying issue.
2.5" Morels - the connectors I received do not fit properly.
The 2.5's have a post with notches.
The 6.5's have a straight post.
I received 6 connectors that fit the 6.5 (bottom pic) style of post. They slip on and off the 2.5" post.
All 6 connectors are identical and are a perfect fit for the negative 6.5's.
If I am an idiot (once again), please let me know.
If not, any idea where I can pick up the connectors?
I found these, but they look too big.
I also learned how to solder last night at 1 am. Fun times! Now I want to solder everything.
**Side note** I found out my neighbor has a laser and plasma printer. He sells items online in his spare time. Lucky for me, he made me a pair of brackets that fit perfectly for the 2.5"s for the dash. He stopped by when he saw 40,000 pieces of my Jeep inside of my garage.
I can post his info should anyone need custom items. I gave him my stock dash speaker and within 10 minutes he knocked out two different styles of brackets. He can do anything you want. I am currently looking for an emblem or something to replace the stock badge on the driver's side.
Anyways, any info is appreciated.
