Jeep Wrangler JL More 2-Door 'Discontinued' Rumors... 1710706127287-tu

I’m not saying OP is one, I’m just posting the definition?

You just might be right...While I only posted what another Jeep forum Administrator wrote on their site today, I obviously triggered a few into emotional responses ?

Oh no, it has to come with the 3.0TT before it goes.
If it doesn’t, the 2dr Bronco’s available 415 lb ft will further decrease sales expediting Jeep’s cause for discontinuing.

We for sure need a HO engine option for the 2-door...When I ordered my '24 JLRX my intent was to order the 3.6 Auto and install the NIB Edelbrock Supercharger I never got around to installing on my '20 JLR. Sadly, Jeep will only include the 35" tire package with the 2.0 Auto on 2-door JL's but does include it on all 4-door X trim with either engine option as long as you select the Auto trans.

Familiar and excellent marketing strategy.

Kinda like those seemingly yearly "final" and "special" edition 392/SRT/blah blahs...

There will be enough buyers to fall for it and buy those "final" editions until they actually take the 2 doors off the assembly line sometime in 2025 or 2026 or 2027 or 2028...?

Mind you, I may be one of those suckers if they ever offer Snazzberry on a 3.6 2dr with the 35 package ?

It’s also needed for the 4dr. With the V8’s discontinued the only competition for the Bronco’s 418 HP, 440 lb ft 3.0 is the 4xe . They better wake up. Isn’t the Sasquatch pkg more widely available also ?

@4xFUN - checked, yes Sasquatch is available on 2drs . If I were in the market for a 2 dr, especially now that I read the Raptor front end upgrades are available Jeep would not be chosen. Sad
Jeep woke up to 35’s,(Rubi/Willys only) but not acceptable torque.

Yes, the Broncos are tempting and before I ordered my '24 JLRX W/35's I went down to the Ford dealer and looked long and hard at the Broncos...It's just at the end of the day I am just a 'Jeep' guy. If and when the 3.0 TT is available in the 2-door JL, I will upgrade from my '24 :)

If the V8 were 2 dr available I would be driving a 2 dr. The squishy torqued V6 and 4 banger are unacceptable. 47 years ago I built an approaching 400 HP Corv-illys 63, by 37 years ago it was upgraded to approaching 700 HP 6-71 Blown. I’ll repossess Dad’s 3A from my son if I want to drive a 4 banger…. I drove a 4R for 16 years , 210K mi. before my 21 V8 Wrangler because a V8 was offered….. the T-6 would be acceptable. Edit- with earplugs required. ?

Ya, I know...I almost didn't post this but thought since the administrator of another Jeep forum posted it on their site this morning, why not?
