Mopar wheels

I dont like the silver rings, has anyone painted the rings, can I just spray paint them. I don't want to powder coat.

I didn't care for the sliver either. I scuffed the rings, sprayed with Dupli-Color (Graphite), light wet sand, and finished with Dupli-Color matte clear coat.
