Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit accessory holes

Ever since I added the Mopar tailgate reinforcement kit I've been eyeing the accessory holes. I decided to take a swing at using them. It didn't quite work out, but there's a path forward to actually make use of these holes.

Right now my plan is to get a small plate and drill some holes so I can offset the Quick Fists by about two inches:

I just installed my tailgate reinforcement today. I am already thinking what to use those holes for. I am glad to see others are on the same page. Definitely post once you get the final product up.

I'm thinking I would like to make a hi-lift jack mount there.

I believe Teraflex is redesigning their hi lift mount from the JK to fit this. From what they told me it will be a modified JK one.

Teraflex did say their redesign is on their to-do list so it might be a while. I still have my carrier from the JK so I might take a stab at it since it hasn't sold yet.
