I've not had the opportunity to see this grille in real life and I'm having a hard time telling by the pictures. Are the mesh inserts and the light surrounds in satin black too or grey?

I'm about to order the actual Mopar Satin Black Grille (part number 82215114) for my 2020 Rubicon. I'm 99% sure but want to confirm something with y'all before I do:
Is it true that the Mopar Satin Black Grille uses three stock, painted panels on the Rubicon? The installation instructions seem to show the removal of the stock pieces and their installation on the new grille part.

As far as I know, Sahara and Rubicon are direct swap outs with no extra trim parts needed. It takes about 15mins to do the swap. My HellaYella above is a Sahara.

Yes...if you want to have the body color around the edge of the grill, you swap out the black ones it comes with , for the stock ones on your Sahara or Rubicon.

My black grill did not come with edge pieces. You had remove the color ones from the original grill, in my case a Blue 2019 Sahara, and install them.

Has anyone done this on a Bikini? I can sort of picture it in my mind but canāt decide if Iād like it or not.
In order to pull my grille Iād have to pull the bumper and winch as there is zero wiggle room. At some point Iāll do it to mount a hood lock or front camera but I only want to do it once as itās time consuming as is.

I have a red jl - looks nice in that picture up there. I was a little iffy about black grill, black bumper, black fenders, but it looks sweet. Just don't know if I'm ready to pony up hundreds of dollars for it.
