Hey gang. I ordered a fully loaded Rubicon 2.0 Jlu on Feb 9.

I tried to order a bunch of Mopar parts to be included but nearly everything came up as unavailable. Also, the dealership said the Mopar parts are not charged at invoice price like the Jeep purchase (tread lightly discount used for the Jeep). Is that accurate?

I couldn’t get parts at my 1% below invoice price either. There’s a coupon on the Mopar parts site for accessories that should work. I’ve read many parts will be available on 3/1. I’ve ordered some stuff from Amazon and Quadratec they’ve shown up like the door sill guards, grab handles, etc. But the big stuff I want like the winch guard, trail rail system, etc aren’t avail yet.

Parts and accessories for vehicles are not subject to the same pricing structure and incentives as vehicles themselves. They are two different and separate business units.

So I understand dealers won't discount MOPAR parts at or below the invoice price, but is the price negotiable at all?

Well, I just talked to my dealer. They will honor the coupon at the $200 max that it's worth, but if I use it, that means I'll have to pay for the accessories separately. Bottom line, if I do that, the Mopar parts won't be under the VIN of the Wrangler (3/36,000 vs. 12/12,000 warranty) and, I'll have to pay 8.25% sales tax vs. 3% that I'm paying for the Jeep. I think I'll skip the coupon...lol

Hi RON or others,

When I ordered the Jeep (2.0 JLUR) they added the parts list individually on a parts sheet and then added the total add ons to the total price, however they said they couldnt yet order the parts (except cargo tub!) so based on what you learned how do we ensure we get the parts associated with the VIN to make sure it is covered by the warranty etc and have it all totaled up together? Do we keep checking in with parts and then order when available (presumably before pickup)?

That's all I'm doing...so that if they are all invoiced under your VIN, they'll be part of the vehicle and presumably covered under the 3/36...or so I hope...lol

Has anyone in c status been able to call or visit the dealer to get some of the Mopar parts included on the order build for factory installation now that the parts list is showing up? I presume items like the snorkel will be cheaper for installation than at the dealership.
