Hi all

installed the Mopar lift on my rubicon 2.0L. According to the manual, the front springs for the 2.0L model are the exact same part.

however, after finishing the installation, it looks like the passenger side is bowing slightly, while the driver side is pretty straight. Anyone knows why?

Your axle moved left when you lifted it since the track bar is stock.

You most likely got at least 3” of lift, and your axle has shifted to driver side probably between 1/2-3/4 “ , this will cause passengers spring to bow.

It is actually an adjustable track bar. I centered the axle good enough I guess. Used a plumb bob and it's off center less than 1/8". I think this is not enough to cause the spring not bowing the same..

10-4, jumped to conclusions since the Mopar lift didn’t include it.
The top coil isolators are supposedly what introduces the bow.

I checked multiple times, the upper coil isolator(stock) are indexed and the nipples were properly inserted into the hole.. Really confused..

But.. take a step back, is the bowing good thing or bad?

Per Mopar, it’s intentional. Best I can come up with, it may help with coil to bump tube clearance at droop. I don’t think it really matters as long as you aren’t having issues with the coils contacting anything during articulation.

Are those still needed with the latest MOPAR lift kit revision?
I installed my Mopar kit with the supplied lower isolators and it turned out fine. I have just a slight bow on each side like it shows in the instructions. From what I read, you needed those Rock Krawler correction pads with the previous Mopar kits.
