Where do y’all live that wipers only last a year or two? I typically replace mine every 4-5 years and they’re usually not horrible at that timeframe.

You’d be lucky if your wipers last an entire year here in the Pacific Northwest. The more reason not to spend $140 on a set.

PS - wipers and windshield fluid cost much less in Canada. I get them at Canadian Tire for about 30% less than Auto Zone or O’Reillys on the US side.

Personally think the best investment for driving in rain is to use RainX. This also works well when your windshield gets splashed with mud.

given that our windshields manage to kill every bug within 50 meters of the highway, this could be handy on road trips. Cost is high for sure, but curious to see if this is effective

Rain-X actually makes wiper blades that I’ve found to be pretty good. Use them on the wife’s car, and will use that brand when my initial Jeep factory wipers wear out.

So, an area where I actually see these being useful - hood mount hi-lifts. If you run a hi-lift on a hood mount, it blocks the nozzles, so I could see those folks getting good use out of these.

I just use the washer fluid at 4 bucks a gallon and it works great. I even put some in a spray bottle to use to clean other windows works better than Windex.
