I guess my question is, is there a major difference between the half doors and just driving with the windows rolled down on the full doors?

When the top is down, the window frame of the full door looks fugly. Plus, the beltline is lower with half doors which makes the lines of the Jeep flow better. See this JK comparison.

It's amazing how right it looks with just the lowers door. Looks like jeeps of yore.

The uppers seem to be there just because they had to do something. Looks so off.

I'm sure it'd look better with a black soft top, and likely ok with black hard top. Just looks off with white, and probably other painted hard tops.

Agreed. Got the soft top on today, half doors back on tomorrow

I wish they would make these with paint matched tops, like the rear quarter panels on the SOT roof. The uppers are what is keeping me from shelling out for a set of 4 in white.
